After nine years running The Globe Inn, our planned sale fell through unexpectedly, and rather than see the pub close, we're exploring bringing it into Community Ownership — keeping this historic pub open, shaped by what the village wants, and secured for future generations.
The business is profitable and viable — we just can't continue running it alone as we are. A group of locals is already keen to form a steering committee to take this forward, and we need to know if this idea has wider support before going further.
